TalktheTalk Creative is now Kingmaker Search. Same team, same ownership, just rebranded.

    All open roles

    Actively interviewing

    Content Engineer

    RemoteFull-time

Own the whole content process, from the keywords we target to the page the reader sees.

We build content for B2B and SaaS companies with Claude, Codex and a knowledge base for every client in GitHub. This role owns that process end to end: strategy, research, AI-assisted production, page design, QA, publishing and the client relationship. You'll work directly with Tameem.

    Apply for this role

    The role

    The process you'll own.

Seven stages, one owner. Every client and every batch runs through this loop.

    1. 01

      Keyword strategy and prioritization

Find the searches that matter most to each client: relevant, high-intent and profitable. Understand why each one matters, then prioritize the highest-value topics first. You'll build this with Tameem.

    2. 02

      Client profile and knowledge base

Build and maintain each client's knowledge base in our GitHub, so every draft starts from real facts.

      • Company and product
      • Features
      • ICP and personas
      • Case studies and proof
      • Voice and positioning
    3. 03

      Briefs and drafts

Use our AI-assisted workflows in Claude and Codex to turn the knowledge base into briefs and article drafts.

    4. 04

UX and UI alongside the copy

This is not a writing-only role. You decide how each piece comes together: accurate graphs, charts and infographics, real product screenshots, and CTAs that fit the topic. You know when to bring the product in and how to make a page scannable, digestible and easy for AI to crawl.

      • Charts and infographics
      • Case study and testimonial CTAs
      • Product callouts
      • CRO
      • Scannability
      • AI crawlability
    5. 05

      Review and QA

AI drafts fast. You make sure it's right: facts, sources, visuals, links, structure and on-page SEO, checked before anything ships.

    6. 06

      Publish

Hand off to the client's developer, or push the content to the client's site programmatically through our systems.

    7. 07

      Client communication

Be the client's point of contact for content: questions, revisions, feedback and updates.

You'll run this process for 6 to 8 clients at once. Past that, we hire to support you.

    The fit

What you'll bring, and how we'll back you.

    You bring

    • Writing and editing judgment

With examples you can walk us through.

    • A UX and UI eye for content

Hierarchy, visuals, CTA placement and how a page reads on mobile. Design experience helps; willingness to learn is enough.

    • Comfort with unfamiliar software

You research it and turn product details into accurate, useful content.

    • Clear client communication

And ownership of delivery, from strategy to publish.

    • Curiosity about SEO and AI-assisted building

Keyword strategy, technical SEO and GitHub. You don't need to be an expert in every tool.

    We provide

    • Tools, paid for

We fund the Claude and Codex subscriptions you use for work, plus access to our client knowledge bases, workflows and approved tools.

    • Direct feedback

You work with Tameem and get regular direction as you grow into the wider role.

    • Your setup

You'll need fast, reliable internet and a computer that handles AI tools, video calls and content production. Tell us if anything needs support.

    • Shared hours

Part of your day overlaps with North American clients. Tell us your time zone and hours; we'll set the schedule together.

About 15 minutes, plus a short video. No unpaid client assignment.

    Content Engineer application

    Step 1You

We'll use this to follow up on your application.

    Step 2Record a 3 to 5 minute video

Please keep your camera on. This role leads client conversations and owns how our work is presented, so we want to see how you communicate: your presence, your demeanor and your personality, alongside the work itself. It helps us judge fit on both sides.

Cover these six points and keep each one brief. Show real work where you can and keep confidential client information off screen.

    1. 01

      Your writing and editing background

Summarize your relevant experience and the kinds of content you've owned. Focus on your work, not graduation dates.

    2. 02

A tour of 2 to 3 work samples

Share your screen and walk us through relevant pieces. Explain the audience, the goal, and exactly what you contributed. Only show material you're allowed to share.

    3. 03

      A piece you made better

Show or describe what was weak, what you changed, why you changed it, and how you judged the result.

    4. 04

Research and AI in your workflow

Explain how you use Claude, GPT, or Codex, including any skills, plugins, or GitHub workflows. How would you build a client knowledge base from first-party product information, G2 or website testimonials, and real screenshots? Tell us how you'd verify facts and keep sources.

    5. 05

The reading experience and product connection

Show or describe where you'd add a diagram, chart, product screenshot, animation, or interactive demo. Explain how you'd make the page digestible and where an in-content or sticky product CTA would genuinely help.

    6. 06

      How you keep getting better

Tell us how you grow, as a person and as a professional. What do you read, watch or listen to? Which habits or daily practices keep you sharp? What do you like to do in your free time?

We recommend Loom (free). A YouTube unlisted, Google Drive or Vimeo link works too.

Check that anyone with the link can view it.

    Step 3Experience

    Technical SEO *

    Content design and UX *

Describe relevant experience and how you'd handle feedback, explain a technical recommendation, or flag a delivery problem early.

    Step 4Working together

Type your city, state or country, or a time zone like Eastern or Pacific.

Tell us your sustainable weekly availability.

When can you work each day? *

Times are in your time zone (Coordinated Universal Time).

    That's 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Toronto · 8 hours overlap with our core hours

Include: your computer and RAM, internet speed (download and upload), a backup connection, and anything you'd need help with.

    $per month

Enter a monthly amount. We'll show the annual and hourly equivalents.

    Step 5Submit

We use your answers, video and work examples to assess your application and contact you about this role. Please don't include ID documents, birth dates, medical details, or confidential client material. If you need an accommodation to apply, email careers@kingmakersearch.com. Privacy policy.
